The justice department has just appointed a special counsel to lead a new investigation

into Russian influence in the election. The department naming former FBI chief Robert

Mueller as special counselor Paul Manafort, former Trump campaign chairman, is now a criminal

defendant. National security adviser Michael Flynn says that he is cooperating with the special

counsel's probe. 13 Russians and three Russian companies interfered online and in person in the 2016 election.

Michael Collins offices were rated by the FBI for reasons unknown at this time.

The jury found Paul Manafort guilty of intentionally dodging taxes on millions of dollars.

Jeff Sessions is now out as Attorney General. President Trump's former lawyer,

Michael Cohen has pleaded guilty to line to Congress about his contacts with Russians.
