Yesterday we learned and meditated on the teaching of Jesus concerning private property.

Jesus and the Church have always been opposed to utopian dreams of a world without money or a world without ownership.

It's not your private property. No, it was a friend of mine in high school was like a neo-communist because she thought she was an intellectual

so her phone background at the time was a little cartoon frog and it said hippity hoppity destroy private property.

It was kind of funny.

The church has always taught that private ownership, private property is good because it expresses

and promotes the essential human realities of ingenuity, freedom, and enterprise,

which means that private property is an essential human thing.

However, the Catholic Church continuously declares that

there's an additional principle on which all the economics must be based.
