Simon, you like singing in a local choir in your spare time?

I do indeed.

Yeah, it's a very therapeutic thing to do because I have to focus on the music and not worry about work and emails. So, yeah, it's a great outlet. Well, for you, it's not worry about screaming kids because you're a teacher. Yeah, that as well. Yeah, absolutely. When you're in the choir, what role do you take? I'm one of a very small group of tenors. We're a bit of a premium, to be honest. So we have to sing our hearts out to be heard amongst all the other people. Let's pick up the choir. What's their name? Tongues with Chamber Choir. There's about 20 of us, and we do local concerts for charity. We've got one coming up in Marchtime in Cranbrook. So yeah, very local to us.

Very good. And you're well-traveled, like many of our 10 to the top contestants. You've been to

China and Lake Bled in Slovenia. Where's your favorite place? I loved Lake Bled. Myself and my wife

went out of season, so we essentially had the place to ourselves, and it was absolutely

stunningly beautiful.
