Okay, here we go. Everything's going to be okay for some of us.

Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt during a campaign rally Saturday

night in Butler, Pennsylvania.

He's now being compared to Teddy Roosevelt by Elon Musk.

Elon Musk endorsed Trump right after the assassination attempt and

compared him to Teddy Roosevelt because Teddy Roosevelt also survived an assassination

attempt while he was campaigning for president. What I like best about this new comparison between

Trump and Teddy Roosevelt is yes, Teddy Roosevelt did in fact survive an

assassination attempt while campaigning to become president again.

And then Teddy, like Donald Trump in November, ended up losing that

also Teddy Roosevelt was a genocidal maniac but that's for a different show

Teddy Roosevelt also invented the phrase the bully pulpit when he described the

office of president and by bully he meant he could use the office to push his

agenda.

Roosevelt used the word bully to describe something as superb or excellent.

If something was really great, it would be bully. Trump, on the other hand, uses the bully pulpit

to make fun of people with disabilities.

I am so grateful that he's okay.

That was a tragedy.

And I am glad he's okay.
