Generation Z are the cohort born between 1995 to 2010.

We've become the first limitless generation.

A generation who no longer need to create a full strategy in order to reach and influence thousands of people.

We just create a tweet.

Think of the power this holds.

Every single Gen Z has a platform with which they can voice their opinions and ideas.

I mean you only need to open your phone and you'll probably find any one of your friends

talking about a trending news topic as if they were some sort of expert. This concept alone

takes our entire generation and puts us beyond the box. Many young people are

falling away from the faith and walking away from the church as they grow older.

A recent survey conducted by the Barna Group found that less than 1% of the young adult population in the United States has a biblical worldview.

The expressive individualism, the transition, the self-sufficiency, the medication of numbing out on your phone and the competition of social media are five barriers that

pastors and disciples makeers need to learn to tear down if they're going to connect with

emerging generations.

Statistics show that children today spend an average of 30 hours per week in school and 30 hours

per week in front of a television or connecting on social media.

This is in contrast to the time spent weekly in the church classroom, 45 minutes.

Given the amount of exposure to worldly influences versus the Bible training,
