How is everybody feeling?

So, listen, I dragged my guy friends to the

materialists last night. And I was so excited about this movie. I love Dakota Johnson. I love her.

I think she's so chic. I think I just, I don't know. I think she's a cool girl. I actually

really like her acting. All of her interviews really do it for me because she has a very dry sense of humor. And it looked like a rom-com. Now, I had heard rumblings that it wasn't really a rom-com. And it wasn't. There will be no spoilers. I'm not going to spoil it for you. But I do have some notes. In the first half an hour, 45 minutes, I was like, oh, my God, this movie's so cute.

I love the messaging.

It's about a matchmaker.

And I think why I was so frustrated by the pacing and the ending and the lack of chemistry is that there were really good points being made.

I think the points of the movie that,

you know, people are far too picky, not picky, but like people's expectations are sometimes

so outlandish. And my favorite part of the movie, which I think you guys, if you're a listener,

if you're a community member, you know how I feel about this.

People think too much about the on paper. Like there's too much emphasis on the on paper, which is why I think dating apps are so fucked up because you can't boil people down. And at the end of the day,

even if a guy is 6'5, if you can't make you laugh and if he can't make you come then he's not your guy right and I think the
