Mississippi Free Press put together this extensive timeline of efforts by Farve to help build not one but two volleyball facilities at schools his daughter attended. Brett Farve loves building volleyball courts. It's what he does.

Nolee released text messages reveal that NFL Hall of Fame or Brett Farve had much more involvement than once believed in moving millions of federal welfare dollars intended to help low income families to instead pay for a new volleyball facility where his daughter played.

Messages released in a new court filing alleged Farve sought reassurances from a nonprofit executive that the public would not learn of his actions.

Oh, that's it. Well fair. And there's the text message from Farve to the friend of the former governor who was in the middle of the deal asking, quote,

if you were to pay me, is there any way the media can find out where it came from and how much? No, well, not for five years and now I just told you about it. Farve earned almost $150 million in his playing career, millions more, maybe tens of millions more in endorsements along the way. Mississippi is the second or third poorest state in the country. Farve's daughter only played one year of indoor volleyball.

Southern Miss volleyball, wellness center is up in a cost approximately $7 million, $5 million came from funds set aside for the temporary assistance for needy families program. Farve's is not a needy family, by the way,

but Farve's not currently faced criminal charges. He has hired a lawyer, Eric Hirschman, the guy who testifies before the January 6th committee with the bat on his wall that says justice.
