Is it just because of what you saw anything last Sunday, or is it because of Jacobi's situation?

Well, I think it's a little bit of both, but I thought what Sam did and went out and did the things that we were hoping he would be able to do. He did some really good things. I thought he managed a couple of drives very well, very nicely, and, you know, again, want to see him get an opportunity to finish it out. Ron Rivera, moments ago, announcing that Sam Howell will start Sunday against the Cowboys.

That was John Kime asking the question and the follow-up question as to why Sam Hal was starting.

Was it his performance against the 49ers or Jacoby Brissette's injury?

Ron said a little bit of both, but he thought that Sam went out

and did some good things that they were hoping he would be able to do against the 49ers.

I thought he did some nice things on Sunday, too, especially in the first half. The show, as
