0:08.6	ins and the outs of the biggest news in women's sports. I am your host Claire
0:12.4	Watkins. You may know me from my
0:13.8	years of soccer coverage both the end of USL and the US women's national team but I've
0:17.8	also been the primary author of the just women sports newsletter since
0:20.4	2021. The idea of the podcast is whether you're a casual fan or
0:24.1	have been following women's sports for a while. The show is meant to carry the
0:27.3	conversation forward. Today's just going to be me. We're going to be talking
0:30.4	about the biggest stories of the week, but we're planning on having
0:33.0	guests on in the future to make this the most comprehensive show in women's sports.
0:36.2	The idea is we'll record on Mondays after weekend action to release every Wednesday.
0:40.7	It is now Monday, February 5th. We're excited to get started, lots of stuff to talk about. Let's dive in.
0:47.5	So to start, we're going to start with talking about college basketball. College basketball season is in full swing. We're actually kind of in the home stretch of the conference part of the season. Regular season runs through the first weekend of March. Then we have conference tournaments. Then we have conference tournaments.
1:03.6	Teams have been in the middle of conference play battling out for regular season
1:06.8	conference titles and for conference tournament seating and obviously everyone can go
1:10.7	to ESPN and check out all the bracketology changes daily.
1:14.0	We've seen some really good battles so far.
1:16.5	But where I want to start, since this is the first episode of the show and we're
1:19.3	going to look at some big picture stuff today, probably get a little bit more into the weeds as we keep going because
1:24.1	we're jumping into a story in the middle, right? But let's start with the AP top 10 that just
1:29.3	came out today on Monday, February 5th, just to give everyone a breakdown on where some of these top teams sit right now.
