Like everyone else, we are glued to the news for updates. You know, I spent all those years in spring training down in Florida.

So know all these areas that have been hit and got to meet a lot of people and thinking about a lot of folks down there who I know and I know Sarah, you're the same.

My parents are actually down there right now with my sister and my brother-in-law and then my aunt and uncle live there too.

So it's definitely scary. We had my aunt and uncle are evacuated. They're in Miami right now. And then my sister and my mom and dad are still in their house.

They actually just closed on their house like a couple of days ago. So this is definitely a scary time and my thoughts and prayers are out there for everyone who's affected.

Absolutely. This is a baseball podcast and we will talk baseball. The best race down the stretch is for the National East and the Braves and Mets went into play Wednesday tied for first place.

And early on it didn't look so good for the meds. They were down 4 to 2 in the bottom of the eighth inning and Wardo Escobar came to the plate.

After the Mets victory, Buck Show Walter talked about the conversation with Jeremy Hepner and Drew Smith pitching in that top of the tenth inning, which was so pivotal for New York.

Yeah, I turned to Jeremy there with two outs. I said, boy, if you can get through this, we might have drew, you know, some of those things that you hope there's a bot product of the game.

It's not the first time, but it's that time where we said there's Drew from April and May. You know, that could mean a lot for the depth of our bullpen.

And, you know, Tyler, other than the first two or three hitters is is inching along getting back to, but it's just that he hasn't had the experience for leaving as much.
