Here we are. Robcast, episode 302. It's good to be blank line period. I know. It took 302

episodes to get to an episode with a title that has a long blank line in it. We were working

our way there and now we're here. So the title of this episode is a fill in the blank. It's

good to be blank period. And so in this episode I want to explore what goes in that blank line

and give you something to write in that blank line. And it's so simple. And yet the most

profound truths are usually lurking, lingering somewhere there in the simple sentences,

aren't they? I'm doing some new, they're so enjoyable. I don't even know whether to call

them classes or sessions or events. I've noticed a number of things people wanted to talk

about last year. And so I've created these live online events to talk about them. I noticed

how many people had a sense that there was something new to do, something to try, something

to make, shape, create, form. And so almost like a voice, like a slow motion whisper within

them going, hey, we should try this. But then what they would say to me is something

along the lines of, but then there's also these other voices, imposter syndrome, fear,

legitimacy. Who am I to do this? Other people have done that. And so what I noticed is

how many people had this one voice, the voice of creation. It's like, hey, it's time to

go. Something's ending, something's starting. Let's try this. Let's try that. Why wouldn't

we at least dip our toe in that water over there? But then these other voices, the voice

of the expert, the voice of the possible, the critic, judgment, shame, legitimacy, authority.

And so this week I'm doing a session called How to Create. And I want to show you how

to listen to that one voice in such a way that all those other voices, you can't even

hear them anymore. And there's the very specific ways you can do this. Once again, it's
