And did you know that on average American’s watch upwards of 5 hours of TV per day?! You’re probably thinking, “Well Dean what does this mean for me?” What it means is that it is getting harder and harder to FOCUS on what is truly important in our lives. With the distractions of phones and TV and news and negative thoughts in our lives we all are guilty of focusin less and less on what matters on our journey of personal growth. And in this week’s Weekly Wisdom I want to share with you how you can regain your focus, get back some extra time throughout the week and continue to work on becoming the best you possible! Hey guys, welcome to the Weekly Wisdom. It's an honor and a pleasure to have you here.

Okay, I just got back from the gym or in fact I'm still in my car and I had this thought was just in my head and I couldn't even wait to go into the studio to film this on focus.

You know, all of us have so many things going on in our lives.

You know, we're busy non-stop.

Our phones going off, text messages, emails, people calling us, busier than we've ever be with all this great

apps on our phone that allow us go quicker and faster.

And what happens is we lose our focus or we forget to focus on the things that are important to us.

You know, if we focus on, and we know all this, right, but if we focus on what's wrong

with the world, what's wrong in our lives, what could go wrong with our lives,

what's wrong with this crazy election stuff

that's going on. If we focus on that, it can be so crippling not only because it gives us

negative thoughts and a hypnotic rhythm of what's wrong,

but it takes the focus off what we need to do for ourselves, to become our best cells.

You see, if you're watching this, you're somebody that wants more out of life

that next level in a relationship and your finances and your passion, your intimacy,

and your health, and the love that you have in your life and when we lose focus then we drift.

And I think the worst thing we can do in life is drift.

So this week would be an amazing week to really acknowledge what are you focused on.

You know, whatever we focus on grows.

If we focus on how things won't work, it will continue to not work and it'll seem heavier and heavier.

So it would be great whether you do it in your phone or you take a yellow pad or a little piece of paper

or in your notes in your phone. And this week, see what's gobbling up your attention. See what your focus is. Do you go home or you're obsessed with all the stuff going on with this election and you get sucked into hours of news?
