Welcome to the show. I am really excited about today's guest. We've got Chris Long coming on

the show and the reason I'm excited about Chris Long is that I have loved his work for quite a while.

And I'm so excited to be able to, one, if you've never heard of him, to be able to introduce

Chris Long to you, because he is one to know. And I just, like I said, I love his work. And his work is

absolutely amazing. It just, it just blows my mind how

beautiful his work is. And it's functional work that he makes. And so, which I'm a huge fan of

functional wear. I just love functional wear. And he just makes it so beautifully. Now, this is also a fun conversation because he has this

quote in here that I've actually titled today's episode after this quote where he said,

it's functional work and its function is to pay the bills. That is so good.

That is so good.

This is a dude who lives off of his pottery.

And he makes beautiful work, and he makes it to fund his life.

And it's just the way that when you are doing ceramics as a business,

hey, that's kind of the way life has to be. It's got to be functional for your life. So if,
