With the news that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer isn't waiting for the House,

he is taking the first procedural step today to tee up a stopgap funding bills to a partial government shutdown on January 19th and potentially

a full shutdown just two weeks later. This means that the Senate's going to move here, right?

They're going to put out some legislation that will be the underlying vehicle for a possible

deal on a short-term CR.
