Listen, what we live for at Living Proof is to serve people, the Word of God.

We base our ministry on Hebrews 412 that tells us that the Word is alive and active.

We pray this message is going to serve you in some way today and that God is going

to speak through it. Thank you so much for giving us this privilege. Okay, girls, be seated, please.

And I want you to turn with me to Mark chapter four. I want to read verses 21 through 34. And he,

this is Jesus, said to them, is a lamp brought in to be put under a

basket or under a bed and not on a stand? For nothing is hidden except to be made manifest. There

is anything secret except to come to light. If anyone has ears, let him hear. And he said to them,

pay attention to what you hear with the measure

you use it will be measured to you and still more will be added to you pay attention to what you

hear now he says that next thing that with what measure you use he says it about several things

he says it about mercy said with that same cup of mercy that you hold out to others,

that cup of mercy will be measured unto you. He says all sorts of things where he makes that

description in that measure. But what it has to do with in this context is how much we're willing

to open up our ear to hear him. How much, I ask you as we get started, how much do you want to hear from

Jesus this weekend? How much do you want him? How much are you looking for his insight? Are you

looking for him to show you a glimpse of his greatness and his glory. How much do you want him this weekend?

Because with that measure, as you hold up,

if you have to say to him this weekend,

I need you so desperately,

I don't think I can make it without you.
