Hey, you're on air with Ella. And this is just a quick little thought that I want you to ponder and

pull out of your pocket when it's useful. I just got off of a small group coaching call and we were

talking about peaks and valleys and how we treat ourselves when we feel good and how we treat

ourselves when we feel bad. And I don't know about you, but when I feel good, I treat myself so differently than when I feel

bad.

So if I'm dressed, you know, hair done, makeup on, and I'm feeling good in my own skin or any,

you know, any variety, any variation on that theme, I treat myself so differently

than when I am channeling my inner eore, when I'm dressed in nothing but slouchy clothes,

when it's not really about how you look, okay, but stick with me, even metaphorically speaking.

You know, I feel like a sloth and I act like one and I eat so differently.

And it's so much harder to exercise, right?

And it's self-perpetuating.

But I treat myself so differently.

And that is kind of normal, kind of to be expected, kind of logical.

But here's what happens. If we can recognize that life is peaks and valleys and peaks and valleys and

peaks and peaks and valleys and anyone who's trying to sell you nothing but peaks is lying to you,

okay? Life is made up of peaks and valleys. That is never

going to change. It is what we do in those valleys that makes all the difference, okay? And yes,

there are ways to spend way more time in valleys. And yes, there are ways to create many more peaks

in your life. So yes, we have a lot of influence over

how high our peaks are and how low our valleys are and how much time we spend in each. And yes,

we have lots and lots of control. But at the end of the day, all other things being neutral,
