When I was a kid

We had something called the penit race

Understand that those of you that a little bit younger don't really remember the penit race

And I don't blame you for remembering the penit race because it was just a whole different ball game like when I was younger

Only two teams made it to the playoffs in each league in baseball

Right before I was born it was only one the world series are just the best in this league the best in that league

But then they figured out man

That basically got a hard to sell these tickets later

So we need to keep more intrigues you have more teams and so you see that with baseball now everybody make it in the playoffs in baseball

It kind of messed everything up. But whatever we had to penit race and you get down the last weekend of the season

And you're like, who's going to win? Oh, it's a couple games between them. It would be real legitimate excitement

I have thought about the last great penit race many times

1993 Giants Braves was the last year of division play and it came all the way down to the end and it was absolutely thrilling
