Look, let me ask you a question.

What happens?

I mean, what happens when the guardrails of democracy only exist if the driver

chooses not to mow them down? What happens when the so-called leader of the free world

treats the Constitution like a buffet menu? Take the parts he likes, toss the rest in the trash, and light it on fire for good measure.

Well, my friends, we're living that nightmare in real time. And the name of the wrecking ball? Yeah, it's Donald J. Trump.

Now look, I've seen the guy up close. I worked for him. I defended him. I lied for him. And let me be crystal clear.

This man doesn't want to be president. No, he wants to be king. And not metaphorically speaking either.

And not as a joke. I mean robes, gold trim, and absolute power. He believes laws are for the little people, peasants,

as he calls them behind closed doors. And right now, with a spineless Congress, a bought and paid

for Supreme Court and a network of fascist fanboys egging him on, he's getting dangerously close to getting his crown.

I mean, in just a few short weeks of Trump 2.0, we've watched him declare war on the First

Amendment. And you don't have to be a Harvard constitutional law professor to know that

punishing free speech is un-American and yet here he is

threatening to yank federal funding from colleges like Harvard and Columbia just because he

doesn't like the protests happening on campus protests mind you those are protected by the

very First Amendment that he swore to uphold.

But in Trump's America, the law doesn't mean what it says.
