A Christmas story needs to be more than a hallmark story. Christmas is not a love story with red and green coats.

Christmas has to do with the birth of Christ. The Lord has gifted you in just incredible ways.

You're just a master storyteller. I mean, there's crazy twists and turns, but it's drenched in reality.

It's drenched in real life. It's always filled with real hope and redemption.

Darkness begets darkness and light begets light. Any beautiful story you've read, any art that you've ever seen, it's not real. So pray that I find the truest form of the lie that is fiction. When Jesus wanted to make a point, he would turn over a table. If you wanted to tell you just the truth, he would say it plain, you know, I am the way of the truth in my life.

But when he wanted to touch your heart, he told a story.

And he gifted me to tell stories.

And I will ever more always only do that for his glory.
