Hello my friends and might I say congratulations. Now why would I say that to you?

Well I know that it's a struggle many times to do the things you know you need to do to get your mind

aligned with the truth of God's word.

But right now you're hearing my voice, that means you hit the play button, you're listening to the morning mindset way

to go we're going to move forward today together to understand God's word and

apply it to our own lives today we'll be looking at the Gospel of John, Chapter 19,

verses 38 through 42.

So if you have a copy of the scripture available, please open it up and read along with me.

Now before we get started, let's pray because we need the spirit of God to

teach us as we read his word today. Lord God we turn to you knowing that you

understand every bit of the word you You wrote it for us to understand and we trust your

Holy Spirit to open our hearts, open our minds and help us see the truth and then apply it through obedience.

We're asking that in Jesus' name, amen.

Okay, John Chapter 19,

verses 38 through 42 is where we're picking up,

and Jesus has been crucified and he's being taken down off the cross.

So in verse 38, it says after these things, Joseph of Aramethia, who was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, asked Pilate

that he might take away the body of Jesus, and Pilate gave him permission.

So he came and took away his body.

Nicodemus also, who earlier had come to Jesus by night,

came bringing a mixture of muroor and aloes about 75 pounds in weight.

So they took the body of Jesus and bound it in linen cloths and was spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews.
