So, we'll read from the screens if you don't have the New King James Version Bible.

If you've got it, you have it in your hands. Luke chapter 2.

And I'll begin in verse 1, if you'll pick it up in the odd or the even number verses down all the way to verse 20.

But boys, it's precious. And when you read this, I have to tell you right now, as reverent and as holy and as amazing as this is.

And I do mean this with all reverence. I'm not sure, maybe they're doing it this year, maybe not.

But nutsbury farm would always host the Charlie Brown Christmas. Are they doing it still? Are they good to hear?

Whenever I read Luke 2 in this account, I can hear the Charlie Brown characters.

And the story behind that is epic because Charles Schultz, you know, it was CPS, I believe, that aired it.

The first time ever. And he had Luke chapter 2 in it. He had Charlie Brown doing Luke, is it Linus or Charlie Brown? Linus. Linus reads Luke chapter 2.

And CPS said, everything's great for this Christmas cartoon, but you got to drop the Bible part. And they just told him you have to drop this Bible part.

This is like a thousand years ago, right? Seriously, this is like 50 years ago or something. And he didn't say yes or no. He heard them say it. He said he even writes about how he heard him say it.

But he didn't take it out. He lifted it in and he's thinking, you know, it's what it's all about.

So CPS airs it. The whole nation is watching the debut of a Charlie Brown Christmas. And the executives, when they heard what you're about to read, they flipped.

And the phones were ringing. He said, people were, we were going to fire for this you, this and that and everything. And so then the phones started ringing at CPS by people from people saying that was amazing.

We loved the Bible part. So long story short, nobody got fired, became a incredible hit, as you well know. And I'm really blessed that Notzbury Farms still does that amazing presentation on ice.

Because they still give the gospel every year to thousands of people at Notzbury Farms. It's precious. And this is what they read.

And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus to all the world that is all the Roman world that it should be registered.

So all went to be registered everyone to his own city.

To be registered with Mary, his betrothed or engaged wife, who was with child.
