Good morning everyone and welcome to The Times We're In. I'm John Ayderola joined today on the

and as people have pointed out in Twitter, precedent, we're living in precedent at times.

And so we will of course be talking about the big news story of the day. And I'm going to guess

at least the week. It's going to be the big news story of at least the week. And that'll of course

be the invasion of Ukraine. But Jeff, I'm very glad to have you here because we got a lot of other

important stuff to talk about as well for the course of the next 90 minutes or so. We're going to be

talking about the multi pronged attack on the trans community here inside of the United States.

We've got cops behaving badly. We definitely have Texas governor Greg Abbott behaving badly across

a wide spectrum of topics. So if you're not a fan of Republicans and especially not a fan of Greg Abbott,

you're going to enjoy today's program. We also unfortunately will be talking about Candace Owens.

oh, that's a missile, that's a missile, that's a missile. That was my life.

So in that video, you have a reporter being shocked by a specific missile flying overhead,

sort of mirroring how I think many people processed the news of last night. If you were like me,

you were on Twitter and you realized, it's happening. It's happening now. This thing that we

apparently now with hindsight have been building towards for weeks and also the groundwork of it for
