Singer-songwriter Julia Hatfield awoke suddenly in the early hours of July 4th to the sounds of terror.

As she stepped out of the RV she shared with her husband, she could’ve never imagined the sights and sound of those early morning hours.

of us were on social media and combing the internet, looking for information about what

happened during this terrible flood

in Kerr County, even around Kerr County in Texas. I stumbled upon Julia's account. It turns out,

actually, we have a few acquaintances in common, don't we, Julia? So it was sort of a fateful

crossing, if you will, of content.

And I saw that this young woman was posting about her experience during the flood.

And I wanted to know more.
