I'm on the phone with Ashvin, and today we are talking about It Follows from 2014, directed and written by David Robert Mitchell, starring Micah Minro, Kier Gilcrest, Lily Seep, and Olivia Lucardi.

And this movie is about a young woman who contracts a supernatural STD that causes an entity to slowly and persistently stalk her with the intent to kill her and

ultimately anybody who contracts the disease. And Ashvin, I think it's no secret, at least to our

long-time listeners, that we both really like this movie. So maybe we will just say that out front.

Just disclaimer up front, yeah. And we'll try to be balanced and talk about what people, I feel like I can see this movie for

what it is and talk about what people might not like about it.

I was worried.

I thought it was going to be really hard for us to get into.

What are the odds like that this like hits both of ours top five horror of all time,

right?

Yeah, I know. I i mean it's weird i feel like we've

there are we do have different tastes for sure but our our top fives weren't that crazy dissimilar

like even though we only had a couple of matches everything on it yours i was like oh yeah for sure

So, supernatural, kind of like a slasher. It's got the aesthetic and vibe of a slasher maybe, but it's not really, structurally.
