Today in light of what is happening with the coronavirus with all of these issues taking place.

I want to actually get involved directly with some of the medical issues that we're facing

and raise public awareness about some of the issues

that I believe all of us within the Muslim community should be aware of.

Now if you remember a few months ago I think it was I gave a longer lecture and you can find it on the

Q&A section of our websites where I mentioned the various positions that our

classical scholars had about the issue of Taddawi or availing oneself to medicine and the necessity

or lack thereof. Is it wajib, is it obligatory for the Muslim to avail oneself to each and every medical procedure or is it something

that is recommended or is it better to do nothing?
