0:17.6	And just in a couple days here, Jill, we'll be looking towards the heavens for a very rare
0:22.0	total eclipse. What are your plans? Like most things just
0:25.8	survive moosh. Well depending on your beliefs related to total eclipse back in the
0:32.2	day many people thought that that was a sign of doom.
0:36.6	We have, of course, learned since that the Earth revolves around the Sun, and then once in a while
0:41.5	since the Moon goes around the earth that sometimes the moon gets in
0:45.2	between us and the sun, hence the total eclipse.
0:47.9	That'll be Monday afternoon.
0:49.2	We've put up a map and times. For those of you that are in the path there's about 30 million of you in the
0:56.1	path of the total eclipse that'll start in Monterrey Mexico make its way up on a diagonal
1:01.7	going through Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri,
1:03.7	up through Ohio, Pennsylvania, then up through Maine,
1:06.2	and then into Canada there.
1:09.3	And so there'll be this path, Jill.
1:11.5	And I think the closest we can get to the total eclipse is if we drive four hours
1:17.1	north towards the Finger Lakes, that is the portion of New York State that will be able to
1:22.3	take in the full eclipse, whereas those of us, where you live and where I live, will get about a 20% or 30% eclipse.
