former President Trump's challenge of the Fani Willis

Disqualification ruling which allowed her to remain on the election

interference case. The move could significantly delay the case.

Trump and his co-defendants have 10 days to file an appeal.

A statement from Trump's legal team said the president looks forward to making his case

why the charges should be dismissed and why, quote, Willis should be disqualified for her misconduct and this unjustified, unwarranted

political persecution.

Trump and 18 others have pleaded not guilty to racketeering charges over alleged efforts

to overturn the 2020 presidential election,

four people have taken plea deals and in exchange agreed to work with the prosecution

against the other defendants.
