and definitely one of the most ancient

biblical manuscript apart from the fact that it was in Hebrew talking about the fact that we are talking about biblical writings that we found here. Now let's try and get back in history to understand what we're talking about. The Bible, the word of God

that we're holding within our hands. It's something that up until a thousand years

ago people couldn't really hold it in their hands.

People could not even have it in their houses.

For a person at the time of Jesus to have a whole copy of the Bible, it was impossible.

The only places that might have had any copy of the entire Bible and bearing mind in those days,

it's only the Old Testament were synagogues or the temple itself.

But people could not afford such a thing.

Every book had its own scroll.

Every scroll was written on specific material that was enabled the

writings to be to stay there and be preserved, whether it's papyrus or a skin of an animal or anything else,

but no one really owned a Bible in those days.
