Iran's Revolutionary Guards confirmed they fired 180 ballistic missiles into Israel. Israel's defense Iron Dome reportedly shot down most of those missiles with some landing in parts of central

Hezbollah. A spokesperson for President Biden said the United States military assisted in shooting

down Iran's missiles, as did the United Kingdom. Before the

missile launch, six Israelis were shot to death, and 17 were wounded, including a child after a

gunman opened fire at a light rail station in central Israel. No reports as to whether or not

this mass shooting is in any way related to Iran's attack on Israel. All this on the heels of

Israel's ground invasion of southern Lebanon, where the latest report show one entire division

of Israeli soldiers, that would be roughly 10,000, have occupied the country to root out

Hezbollah soldiers, an Iranian-backed paramilitary organization that has emerged as Lebanon's strongest military group.
