Iran's Revolutionary Guards confirmed they fired 180 ballistic missiles into Israel.

Israel's defense Iron Dome reportedly shot down most of those missiles

with some landing in parts of central and southern Israel.

The Israeli government said there were minor injuries and vowed these attacks

will have devastating consequences for Iran.

The White House blamed Iran for escalating the war between Israel and Hezbollah, a spokesperson

for President Biden said the United States military

assisted in shooting down Iran's missiles as did the United Kingdom.

Before the missile launch, six Israelis were shot to death and

17 were wounded, including a child after a gun man opened fire at a light rail station in central Israel. No reports as to whether or not

this mass shooting isn't anyway related to Iran's attack on Israel.

All this on the heels of Israel's ground invasion of southern Lebanon,

where the latest report show one entire division of Israeli soldiers, that would be roughly

10,000, have occupied the country to root out Hezbollah soldiers, an Iranian-backed paramilitary organization that has

emerged as Lebanon's strongest military group. It answers to Iran and is funded primarily to funded by Iran.

Iran said it launched its missile attack in response to Israel's attacks on Beirut,

which killed several top Hezbollah commanders, including Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces continued to fight in Gaza City.
