The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas looks set to go into effect, but in Israel, the discord continues.

The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas looks set to go into effect,

more than 15 months after the start of a war that began with the Hamas attack on southern Israel.

The deal, which would pause the fighting, was reached on Wednesday, but hung in the balance

as Prime Minister Netanyahu deliberated over details.

Netanyahu says Israel's attacks will not end until Sunday at the earliest.

The ceasefire would last for six weeks and include the release of 33 Israeli hostages and hundreds of Palestinians being held in Israeli jails.

To learn more about reaction inside Israel and what this means politically for Netanyahu, I spoke with journalist Noga Tarnapolski.
