Uri is the editor of Babagol, a football website which focuses predominantly on Middle Eastern football,

but also other football in Asia, South America, Africa, international, really.

But with, I would say, a focus on the intersection of football, politics and culture and society,

Uri is a fantastic writer and a lot of the stuff they publish on Babacol is also very, very interesting.

And Uri has written for a number of other publishing

outlets as well. In this episode, we talk about football in Israel and Palestine. The documentary

that we talk about halfway through the podcast is called Forever Pure. You don't need to have seen

it to listen to this. I think you'll still be able to

follow the conversation, but if you want to, it's really worth watching. You can find it available

for streaming online, and also The Guardian have a 10-minute short film version of it, which is

freely available, I believe. So it's worth watching if you haven't seen it. We also talk about

Qatar and the World Cup. And we talk about Uri's journey last year to three international tournaments

in the space of 12 months, which is very impressive. I was delighted to talk to Uri. He's a really

interesting guy and I thank him very much for appearing.
