to Tel Aviv.

Peter is often back and forth and he knows very well the Gaza perimeter and has colleagues who are in the Gaza perimeter the day of the attack.

That is the far south and again.

Peter's in the big city, Tel Aviv himself, sampling the mood, the morale, the prosperity, and

the economy of the Israeli Republic.

Peter at this point, what is your measure now that you've traveled there

more than once during since the crisis started October 7th?

What is your measure of the morale and of the economy? the The situation is surreal, it's not as packed as it would ordinarily be, but you still see people on the streets, you see, let's say the restaurants and the bars are half full, but it isn't a surreal situation and you can understand

it better by comparing it to the situation of the United States.

The last 20 or 30 years, the United States has waged wars. But to get to the

wars that the United States wages, you've got to get on an airplane and play halfway around

the world to the Middle East to Afghanistan. In Israel, Tel Aviv's quiet now, but to get to the front in the south, you need only get inside a taxi and travel for 45 minutes. In fact, sometimes soldiers arrive at the

front by taxi. The northern front is a little more than 100 miles away.

There is for sure a sense of,

there's a sadness that hovers over the city

and overall of Israel.
