we're delving into the story of a serial killer known for his chilling meticulousness

and for scattering kill kits across the country.

These kits, hidden in various locations, contained not only cash and tools, but weapons,

all prepared to aid in a swath of crimes that

spanned across multiple state lines. His ability to evade detection for many years

and the wide geographic reach of his known and suspected activities

make it difficult to ascertain the full extent of his crimes which included

kidnappings, bank robberies, home invasions, arsonsons, and moitas.

What we know about this man mostly comes from his own chilling confession tapes,

tapes that have been deemed so horrifying many have never been released to this day.

We'll start our story on the night of February 1st, 2012 at around 8 o'clock p.m.
