A few weeks ago, Gabriel Noah Brom joined us to discuss the situation in Israel, where he is in Tel Aviv. Now, he actually is a

visiting researcher in political science at Tel Aviv University and director of a project at the

Tilos Paul Picconi Institute. He was with us last time to talk about what happened in Israel

on October 7th and after. We didn't really get

far enough into the interview. I think we should hear more from him. We did that interview about a month

ago. We posted it soon after. So we're going to get an update for him on what situation is there,

what he thinks, and how the United States is responding to it uh in washington dc

and the democratic republican parties and on on college campuses and in the streets so gabby thank you

for joining us once more hi mark it's a pleasure to be here and it's honor. As I said, we ended about a month ago.

I guess it would be the end, it was the end of April when we talked last.

So during this month of May, do you want to fill us in on any important developments in the conflict

and in the discourse surrounding it, the social reality there inside Israel?

Well, sure, Mark.

I'm speaking to you, of course, from Tel Aviv here underneath the Iron Dome, where not

much has been happening actually since I talked to you last.

I'm kidding.

It's a very difficult situation, as I guess most people already know.

We have had some remarkable events, actually.

I think since we talked last, the International Criminal Court, wasn't that within the last

month, has issued a warrant for BB Netanyahu and some of our other distinguished members of the Knesset.

That's one thing, the International Criminal Court, accusing the Israeli government of genocide.

How's that for something that happened since I talked to you last?
