on various cities and areas.

That's according to Iranian state media.

Israel says Iran has launched over 100 drones toward Israel in a counterattack.

Iran's retaliation to Israel's unprecedented strikes on the country targeted its nuclear

program and military leaders.

Iran's president, in a nationally televised speech, asked for unity and vowed to give Israel

a, quote, powerful response.

Israel's defense minister said the goal of the strikes were to thwart Iran's nuclear capabilities.
