It has been a head-spinning day of major breaking news out of the Middle East.

Today, third group of hostages was released as part of a four-day temporary truce between Israel and Hamas.

civilians who fled to southern Gaza not to return home and has warned them that the IDF is still preparing for the next phase of the war once this pause ends.

Already, over 14,000 have been killed in Gaza, according to health officials there.

This truce has allowed both hostages to leave Gaza and much-needed aid to be brought in. A full of aid trucks has entered

Gaza under the protection of the ceasefire, bringing some relief for civilians who have been suffering

as their supplies of food, water, and medicine run short. And although some aid is making its way in,

the World Health Organization says much more is needed. So right now, even during these moments of some joy, major questions remain about the family still waiting, the hostages still held captive, and the civilians still trapped in dire conditions.
