Israel and Hamas have agreed to extend their four-day truce deal which had been set

to end today by two more days according to Egyptian, Katari, and Hamas negotiators.

Under the fragile agreement an additional 20 Israeli

hostages are expected to be released during the extension, Egypt said, in exchange for the release

of 60 Palestinian prisoners. Egyptian officials said Hamas has handed over a fourth group of hostages to the International

Committee of the Red Cross in Gaza, which is facilitating their transfer.
