Hey, glad to be with you on what is obviously a heavy day.

Just wanted to issue a quick note here before I go into the show.

Obviously, our hearts go out to the people, the hundreds of people at the time of this

broadcast.

We've been senselessly killed in Israel this weekend.

And with that being said, I want to set up some parameters here.

There's a reason that I haven't tweeted a whole lot about this because all of this can't

be fit into what used to be 140 characters now with X.

I get that it's extended, but it still requires a little more than that.

I think that everyone can agree or let's set some guardrails.

Everyone can agree that the senseless targeting and killing of innocent people is evil and

needs to be condemned as evil.

And the people who celebrate this are completely evil to be clear.

And I think that my personal opinion, I shouldn't say I think, is that Israel is an important

democracy in that area of the world.

And certainly an ally to the United States when you're talking about morally and intel.

But I want to be clear about a couple of things here because this is a time where we can

have a discussion that matters.

You can acknowledge all of those things and also hold the opinion and we'll get into these

differences here that maybe the United States has created such a quagmire over there that

not being involved with any kind of foreign intervention would be in the best interest

of our country in Israel.
