Iran and Israel carried out new rounds of missile attacks on one another on Saturday night.

Iran said it was mainly targeting Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Israel hit targets around Tehran, including an oil depot.

Earlier, Israel struck a refinery at South Paz gas field, one of the

world's largest. Talks between America and Iran on Iran's nuclear program due to take place

on Sunday were cancelled. Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin talked about Iran in what America's

president said was an hour-long phone call. Both leaders, Mr. Trump said,

want the war between Israel and Iran to end. An advisor to Russia's president said he condemned

Israel's attack and expressed serious concern about the conflict escalating. Mr. Trump said

the pair would speak next week about Russia's war in Ukraine. Iran said that it would target American, British and French

bases and ships in the Middle East if the countries helped Israel to repel its attacks,
