Israel will start allowing countries to air drop aid into Gaza.

That's according to an Israeli security official, who says they're expected to take place, quote,

in the coming days.

Israel had previously allowed airdrops of aid into Gaza, but it was found to be both expensive and unsafe, and several

Palestinians were killed after the airdrops fell on them.

The Palestinian Health Ministry says starvation and malnutrition have claimed the lives

of dozens just this week, including children.

This woman had been queuing at a community kitchen for six hours, waiting for a single bowl of food to share

with her family.

I have nine family members I can't find food for.

They've only eaten her little lentil soup since yesterday.

And this is happening as ceasefire talks are now in limbo, with both the US and Israel

announcing they've recalled their negotiating teams from Doha,
