0:36.3	humanitarian aid to get into Gaza and to allow citizens of Northern Gaza the opportunity to escape to safety.

1:13.7	In related news we learned today that both the US and Israel have carried out separate
1:18.7	airstrikes against Iranian-backed groups in Syria. The attacks reportedly killed 12
1:24.8	Iran-backed fighters. In regards to the strikes the U.S. conducted,
1:29.3	CNN reports that two U.S. F-15 fighter jets conducted an air strike on a weapons storage
1:36.4	facility in eastern Syria. The facility is known to have been used by Iran's
1:42.1	Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
1:45.0	Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a statement that the strike was carried out in self-defense.
1:50.0	Austin said the strike was carried out in response to the attacks against US
1:55.0	personnel in Iraq and Syria. Austin added that the president has no higher
2:00.4	priority than the safety of US.S. personnel and he directed today's
2:05.0	action to make clear that the United States will defend itself its personnel and
