On Monday, Gaza's Hamas-run health ministry released its latest casualty figures from the ongoing Israeli military

action in the territory.

It was huge.

32,845, many of them, women and children.

The news went virtually unremarked by the world's media.

Today, though, a very different response after the same health ministry said that an Israeli

airstrike had killed four foreign aid workers and their

Palestinian driver. In all, seven workers from the US-based

charity World Central Kitchen were killed. One of them was a young Australian woman

Zomi Franklin. This was the reaction of the Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

The truth is that this is beyond any reasonable circumstances.
