Key fact number one.

Nearly all global terrorism is carried out by Islamists.

According to the Institute for Economics and Peace,

88.6% of all terrorism-related deaths in 2022 are directly attributable to Islamist groups.

Key fact number two. A large portion of Muslims globally support violence in the name of Islam

to some degree.

According to a large Pew Research study, 8% of all Muslims worldwide believe that violence

against civilians is at least sometimes justified. That comes to 198 million people.

Key fact number three. Muhammad, their prophet, did kill people and did call for the killing of multiple groups of people.

Quoting the Quran Surin 973,

O Prophet, struggle against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be firm with them.

Hell will be their home.

This comes per the Hadith, which are recorded statements of Muhammad.

Abdullah B. Umar reported, Allah's messenger, may peace be upon him, as saying,

You and the Jews would fight against one another until a stone would say,

Muslim, here is a Jew behind me. Come and kill him.
