My brothers and sisters, we will be speaking about the challenges and the opportunities.

When it comes to Islam in the modern world and you and I know that we have a lot to talk about

and a lot to discuss and a lot to do, I'm sure you would agree with me that we face so many challenges

more than we have been facing in the previous decades that we've been alive.

May Allah make it easy.

I'll try to be as realistic as possible this evening because I want the message to come from the heart straight to the heart.

So if you look at Islam as a religion, it existed from the time of Adam.

Now people might think how because Islam is only maybe 1400 and something odd years.

In actual fact we addressed this yesterday when I said that anyone who submitted to the will and the law

of the Almighty that came through any of the messengers at the time of that messenger was considered the submitter

which translates in the Arabic languages of Muslim.

A Muslim means a submitter, the one who has submitted.

So it is beautifully put the Muslim on those who have submitted have started from the beginning

because they submitted to the will of Allah.

Now religion comes with guidance, it comes with goodness, it comes with peace, it comes with tranquility,

it comes with contentment, it comes with a relationship that you build with the Almighty who created you
