As we're all aware, the country of Bangladesh has been in the news, our hearts or prayers go out to the people of the land.

May Allah's Allah bless them, make this transition time easy for them.

So I thought that in shawl that today, let us go over very briefly a bird's eye view

of some of the interesting anecdotes and historical lessons we can learn from this region,

especially because this region is very interesting.

If you look at the countries around it, you know, look at Bhutan, look at Nepal,

look at India, they are not Muslim majority countries.

And yet here we have this little pocket of a Muslim majority country.

90% of Bangladesh is Muslim.

It is the fourth largest Muslim country in the world.

And yet it is surrounded by neighbors, know me and Mar Bhutan these are not

Muslim majority countries and this is not where Muhammad bin Khansi have

landed this is not where the Arab Sindh they came that's on the other side so how did that come about and what are some of the

lessons we can learn from that region and again this is a bird's view how much can you

accomplish in just 20 or 30 minutes in shawlow the but in shawl a bit of a summary.

Of course, this region has always been associated with the name

Bangla and this goes back to the name of a tribe

that inhabited this region 3,500 years ago.

Some say it is Bangg or Banga or Bangla.

And of course, Desh means land.

So the country was called Bangla Desh,

but the tribe or the peoples are the bungla peoples.
