I wanted to read a passage for you from this book, The Parasitic Mind, 2020.

This is the chapter titled Departures from Reason, Ostrich Parasitic

Syndrome. It's the part where I explain how typically Westerners, suicidally empathetic

Westerners, which is the book is coming out soon, so you better pre-order it. They try to protect

Islam by arguing that whatever you're seeing is something outside of

Islam. So it's not Islam, it's Islamism. So let me read for you here this section. In a quest to

appear nuanced, many academics will posit that a given phenomenon like global jihad is due to a broad range of hyphenated and

concatenated factors that represent a complex multifactorial problem.

I call this the concatenation strategy.

I have often satirized this form of intellectual duplicity wherever another terror attack takes place with the

perpetrators yelling, Allah, Aqbar.

I remind people satirically that the true motives of the terrorists may never be known, but they

are likely due to a confluence of paleobotanic, sociocultural, biopolitical, neurophysiological,

psycho-economic, heterohistoric, georgmatic, and ethno-ketogenic factors.

The more nonsensical terms that you can strew together, the greater the illusion of explanatory

profundity.
