Summary

Nadia Murad, who just won a Nobel prize, reveals the nightmare of her life as an ISIS
slave. Nadia is a 25-year-old woman, who was captured by ISIS sex traffickers a few
years ago, when they took over her village in Iraq, and sold at a slave market. “They
touched us anywhere they wanted, running their hands over our breasts and our
legs….”

After being sold to a man, she was forcibly married, made to convert to Islam, and
wear makeup and tight clothes. She was beaten, burned with cigarettes and
repeatedly gang-raped. After a dangerous escape, she created Nadia’s Initiative, and
is being represented by attorney Amal Clooney in a legal action agains ISIS.

Hear more of her riveting story in her own words, “the checkpoint where the men
raped me, or the feeling of Hajji Salman’s whip across the blanket as Iay under it….”
