in major terrorist threat to the world, the global leader of ISIS, known as Haji Abdul

Ham.

That was President Biden this morning from the Roosevelt room at the White House.

Thanks to the brave of our troops, this horrible terrorist leader is no more.

Our forces carried out the operation with their signature preparation and precision, and

I direct the Department of Defense to take every precaution possible to minimize civilian

casualties.

The president says the leader of ISIS blew himself up during a raid overnight by U.S.

Special Forces in Northern Syria.
