You know, Subhanallah, this is a day that if you visualize it, if you're able to actually

see it and witness it in the place of Arifah, then the magnificence of this day really

dawns upon you.

You know, imagine Subhanallah, millions of people in one place all calling upon Allah

Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala in their different languages with their different requests and Allah

Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala answering all of them simultaneously.

Subhanallah, each one of them engaged in this beautiful connection with Allah Azza wa Jalla.

But one of the things that we often forget is that for the Prophet ﷺ in the companions,

you know, it was seven years of Arifah away from Arifah, meaning the day of Arifah is both

a time and it's also a place.

And the blessing of the day of Arifah is not something that is limited to the place of

Arifah.

And for seven years in the Madinah, the Prophet ﷺ and his companions had Arifah the

way that we have Arifah from a distance.

They fasted and they remembered Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala for the day and they sought

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala's blessing and they sought His forgiveness.

And it's important for us to understand that anything that enhances your ibadah is ibadah

in and of itself.
